In business since 2000, Tierra Technology is evolving along with industry trends and client needs. As such we offer the optimal balance between personal, on-call, on-site service, and a more streamlined Managed Services model.
Our Team
Our group consists of ten technicians who are both customer service oriented and highly skilled. Clients are assigned a primary technician to their account. If your technician is unavailable, or your need is outside his/her competencies, we help each other as needed.
Pete Priel, President
Peter Priel founded Tierra Technology in 2000 out of a passion for technology and a desire to support the needs of local businesses. Peter has worked as an IT/IS specialist and manager for over 15 years. As Regional IT Manager at March First, he led a team supporting 400 users in a cross-platform (Windows and Mac) environment. As Director of IT at Cosmos Networks, he built a 50-node, server based Windows network. As Project Manager at Langtech Consulting, he managed infrastructures for 7 corporate clients with diverse network environments. As IT Manager at Anergen he supported 60 users and built a Wide Area Network integrating 3 remote offices. Peter holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of San Francisco.
